BACKYARD PARTY: An End of Summer Photoshoot

Backyard Party is finally making it to the blog!! This creative project has been in the works for a bit and was such a labor of love. Rachel of Rachel Sea Photo and I teamed up yet again to put together a fun summer shoot I envisioned for my client Body Double Swimwear that would be any girl’s ideal summer day hanging out in the backyard. We teamed up with four stunning Ocean City blogger and local babes to help bring my concept to life, and these ladies did not disappoint in the least! There were about three to four looks for each girl, but the models were still able to bring a fresh, fashionable, and trendy flair into each image.

Our overall idea behind Backyard Party was to create a girls day that showcases various colorful, new and on sale items from Body Double Swimwear for an everyday, lifestyle type of look that highlights the beauty of Ocean City, Maryland in the last days of summer. What made this shoot a bit different for me was the setting and lighting. We intentionally wanted to shoot on a bright, sunny day close to midday to get harsher shadows and to allow for the full sun shots.
